My main task is writing, translating and editing news items for es.chessbase.com and I also love taking photos myself at tournaments and Chess events. Furthermore I am also taking care of everything related with the Spanish speeking market; communication, translation, negotiations with our distributors, chess federationes, businesspartners and other journalists. I love my work and I am trying to do everything best I can. I hope I can make you smile a bit from time to time, when you read the articles at the Spanish website. I am a ChessBase employee since 1998.

8/30/2020 – Many users have comfortable — one could almost say “huge” — computer screens. So it is not surprising that texts in our databases and also those of ChessBase Magazine look almost “ridiculously small”. But that does not have to be the case! Solution: in the latest versions there is a zoom function which becomes available after you update your software online!
8/26/2020 – Online chess is most fun when you know your opponents: less anonymity means less cheating! In the virtual club room on PlayChess, clubs can meet and play blitz tournaments among themselves. To improve your playing experience we now present the video function! All players can log in with their webcam and you can hear and see each other! Suddenly you experience a blitz chess evening almost like in the old days: trash-talk, noises from the next board, cheering, frustration — it all feels more real because you see and hear each other. And everything starts with 2 mouse clicks. Just try it out: create a virtual room with one mouse click, activate the video function with another mouse click, and off you go! The only requirement: to have a premium account!
8/21/2020 – Live games are especially interesting, when exciting tactics are on the board, when "my" opening is played, and when innovations are tried out! The new ChessBase Live Ticker shows you these games! From thousands of live games the ChessBase Live Ticker determines which are particularly on point and exciting at the moment! One click and you are in the game! And everything can be combined with the ChessBase Web Apps for your opening training or tactics training. Try it!
