11/4/2024 – The Kasparov Chess Foundation Academy has successfully kicked off on October 19, 2024, with its Preseason Trainings.
The first session on What We Can Learn from the Chess Olympiad 2024 Top Games, was a success. Participants explored thrilling dynamic games and learned valuable lessons from instructive mistakes made by even the greatest players. Remember, we grow by learning from our own mistakes and those of the best!

4/3/2024 – On April 7, the subscribers of Kasparov Chess Foundation Academy will gather for an exclusive interview with Maurice Ashley, the first African American chess grandmaster. 3/18/2024 – Step into the illustrious world of chess greatness for an interview with IGM Vladimir Tukmakov at the Kasparov Chess Foundation Academy! Tukmakov is a former top player of the end of the 20th century. His chess education was in the Ukrainian city of Odesa, where he still resides nowadays. 2/24/2024 – The Kasparov Chess Foundation Academy invites you to watch an interview with grandmaster Elisabeth Paehtz, one of the strongest German female chess players since her youth. On February 25, 17:00 CET, Elisabeth will give a live interview at KCF Academy. Add it to your calendar!
2/18/2024 – The Saint Louis Chess Club, U.S. Chess and Kasparov Chess Foundation announced the Saint Louis Chess Conference, which will bring together the leading voices in chess with chess educators, researchers and enthusiasts. The Saint Louis Chess Conference will be held October 24-26 at the Chase Park Plaza in Saint Louis, Missouri, and will feature leading keynote speakers including Maurice Ashley, Garry Kasparov and Judit Polgár.
6/15/2023 – The Kasparov Chess Foundation, in association with the European Chess Academy and the Trainers Commission of the European Chess Union, present the first European conference for chess trainers. The event will take place during the SuperUnited Rapid & Blitz tournament in Zagreb, the third stage of this year’s Grand Chess Tour.
1/3/2023 – The Kasparov Chess Foundation (KCF) celebrated its 20th anniversary this year with a gala on November 16th. However, the gala event was not the last event of the year as there was one more work session left. 6/20/2022 – The Kasparov Chess Foundation (KCF) and Saint Louis Chess Club have been running the very successful Young Stars – Team USA program for the past six years. The club proved to be perfect training grounds for three of the Young Stars. Garry Kasparov lead the session and was assisted by FIDE Senior Trainer Michael Khodarkovsky.
2/9/2022 – The Kasparov Chess Foundation organized the second annual KCF University Cup which was played on lichess.org and hosted on chessstream.com on the weekend of February 5 and 6, 2022. 9/17/2021 – The Kasparov Chess Foundation (KCF) and Saint Louis Chess Club have been running the very successful Young Stars – Team USA program for the past six years. Team USA’s program has helped develop several American chess prodigies from across the country. including the likes of GM Jeffery Xiong and GM Sam Sevian. 12/19/2020 – The KCF University Cup, which will take place online, February 6-7, 2021. The tournament is open to teams from colleges and universities from all over the world. 2/9/2020 – Last weekend saw some record-breaking numbers in both the Greater New York Scholastic and the Greater Chicago Scholastic chess tournaments. Held opposite Super Bowl weekend, the events attracted over 2000 students to duel over the black and white squares.
