The organizers of the Salamanca Chess Festival stuck to their guns and decided to green-light the third edition of the festival despite the corona-related difficulties.

In the main event, four male and four female representatives are playing a single round-robin tournament with a time control of 40 minutes for the game with 5-second increments per move. Two rounds per day will be played from Wednesday until Saturday, except on Friday when a single round has been scheduled.
