Day 5 - Blitz

The Superbet Rapid & Blitz Poland is the first stage of the 2024 Grand Chess Tour. The tournament features rapid and blitz chess.

A single round-robin, rapid event will take place on May 8-10, with a time control of 25 minutes for the whole plus 10-second increments per move. A double round-robin, blitz event will follow on May 11-12, with a time control of 5 minutes plus 2-second increments.

The event features a prize fund that amounts to $175,000, with $40,000 reserved for the winner. Grand Chess Tour points will also be awarded.
