Russian IM Alisa Galliamova playing black defeated...

Elina Danielian, who lost her second game in a row

Elina chose to go into a sharp position in the middle game but missed intersting opportunity on 19th move and her position became worse. Alisa, who lost four previous games, played precisely today, neutralized all threats of her opponent and left with extra material.

The oother leader, Humpy Koneru, made a draw against Alexandra Kosteniuk...

... as did the other leader Anna Muzychuk against Chinese GM Hou Yifan

This left three GMs in the lead, with 6.5/12 points; Humpy Koneru, Viktorija Cmilyte and Anna Muzychuk. Tatiana Kosintseva could have scored today, playing white against Antoaneta Stefanova, but missed her chances in the time trouble.
