Round seven

Elina Danielian (above) made a draw in her game against Antoaneta Stefanova and kept the lead after the seventh round of the FIDE Grand Prix. Her Bulgarian opponent got a slightly better position in the middlegame, but didn’t use all her chances and allowed the Armenian GM to find a deep defence in the endgame.

Kateryna Lahno (right) could have joined Elina Danielian on top of the scoreboard, but
she missed winning chance in her game against women's world champion Hou Yifan.

Anna Muzychuk drew against Tatiana Kosintseva and keeps sharing second place

Viktorija Cmilyte defeated Betul Yildiz and caught up with Muzychuk and Lahno

Nadezhda Kosintseva (above) didn’t get any advantage in the opening playing with
white against Humpy Koneru, and the players agreed to a draw in a pawn endgame.

Alexandra Kosteniuk had good chances to fight for the advantage in a complicated
game against Alisa Galliamova, and in the end she succeeded in winning.
