Game of the Week #482
After a one and a half year break the Dutch team competition finally started again and the match En Passant vs AMEVO Apeldoorn, in which eleven Grandmasters, including Anish Giri took part, was the first big clash. It ended with a hard-fought 5-5.
The game of the match was the encounter between Thomas Beerdsen and Paul Velten, though Thomas spoiled his attacking masterpiece in the end. Still, the amazing concept he used deserves to be studied as our Game of the Week.
