ECU Board extraordinary session. The Board of European Chess Union met in extraordinary session to discuss the situation in Ukraine and appropriate measures.
We published the first part of the ECU announcement last Thursday. In it, the Board of the European Chess Union strongly condemned the Russian invasion of Ukraine, the involvement of Belarus, and expressed its solidarity and support for the Ukrainian people. The ECU has set up a special communication channel for any person or entity willing to assist the Ukrainian #Chess Community. For this purpose, the special hashtag #supportUkraineChess was established.
