The European Club Cup takes place this year from October 8th to 14th in Antalya, Turkey. The Open and Women's tournaments are both a 7-round Swiss team tournament with a time control of 90 minutes for 40 moves, then 30 minutes to the end of the game, with a 30-second increment from move one. No draw offers are allowed before move 30.
In the Open section, 36 clubs are taking part, with defending champions Alkaloid and rating favourite, Globus. Each match is played over six boards, with two points for a team win and one point for a draw.
