Last week I highlighted one of Magnus Carlsen’s favourite strategies: playing an early Bg5 to provoke ...g5, and then looking to exploit the weaknesses created by this advance.

Looking at Praggnanandhaa’s games from the recent Tata Steel Rapid & Blitz, I noticed he was employing a very similar strategy, this time in the Giuoco Piano. Let’s see how he fared...
