In the King’s Gambit, there is action right from the start and tactics are king. On his new DVD Daniel King presents 50 puzzles with typical positions and patterns from the King's Gambit. They offer a great way of becoming familiar with the tricks and traps that help you to win games in this opening. Many of the puzzles have been selected to suit the repertoire for White that Daniel King recommends in Power Play 27, so you can use this DVD as a refresher course.
But these puzzles are also good exercises to train your calculation skills. In some of the positions you’ll have to find just one move using the interactive software. In some of the games there will be follow-up questions. There is also a database of games with 101 supplementary puzzles.
