I am taking game 2 of the Ding Liren vs Ian Nepomniachtchi match as a starting point, and comparing it with two games from the 2008 World Championship match between Vishy Anand and Vladimir Kramnik. There are certain similarities with the pawn structure, and these battles are certainly worth revisiting.
