Women’s Candidates - Pool B

The participants of Pool B in the Women’s Candidates Tournament are playing a knockout tournament to decide who faces Lei Tingjie in the final of the event next year.

Each match consists of four classical games, with a time control of 90 minutes for all moves plus a 30-second increment from move 1. If a match is tied, four rapid games follow, with a 15+10 time control; if still tied, two 5+3 games are played; if still tied, single 3+2 games are played until one player wins.

In the semifinal Aleksandra Goryachkina plays against Tan Zhongyi.
