Super-talent Alireza Firouzja was the surprising early tournament leader, but yesterday Wesley So took over by beating him in a technical game with the bishop pair. Another great surprise in the first part of the tournament is local hero Jorden van Foreest. Tonight we will examine how he could have had great chances to beat Magnus Carlsen. The world champion drew the game and took over the record of longest unbeaten streak.
