The 31st edition of the TePe Sigeman Chess Tournament is taking place at the Elite Plaza Hotel in Malmö, Sweden.
An eight-player single round-robin, the event is being played with a time control of 90 minutes for 40 moves, 30 minutes for the remainder of the game, with 30-second increments from the first move. As per the Malmö rules, no draw offers are allowed before move 40.
Rounds are played daily from 1 to 7 May. The first six rounds kick off at 15.00 CEST, while the action kicks off three hours earlier in the final round, at 12.00 CEST.
