434 players contest European Rapid title

The format is a Swiss open with 13 rounds. Players have 15 minutes plus a 10-second bonus per move starting from move one. The prize fund is EUR €20,000 with first place receiving €4,000. The tournament is organised by the Chess Club Gambit Asseco together with the chess federation of the FYROM.
