The A-Open is a 9-round Swiss tournament featuring 191 participants, with Anton Korobov, Frederik Svane and Christopher Yoo as the top seeds. The time control is 90 minutes for 40 moves plus 30 minutes until the end of the game and 30-second increments from move 1.

The B-Open is a 7-round Swiss tournament featuring 191 participants. The time control is 90 minutes for the game with 10-second increments from move 1.

The Paehtz v. Wagner match consists of 6 games with a classical time control.
