What did they say?
Often, when reading written analysis of games from top level tournaments you'll find comments like "Black must have missed this move," referring to a critical moment. A commentator working remotely typically doesn't have an opportunity to find out what was in the players' minds. Thankfully, that's not the case in Saint Louis, where the player contracts require them to be available for an appearance on the live webcast after each game. Occassionally, they may be allowed to skip out on that comittment, but for the most part you saw the players turning up for at least a few minutes, even after painful losses.
To make it easy to review these interviews, we've painstakingly linked all 75+ interviews to their corresponding player name in the round-by-round results tables below.
All links take you to the Chess Club and Scholastic Center's YouTube channel. Any missing links indicates that there was no interview with that player during the webcast for that round (it's rare, but it happens).
