11/27/2022 – Magnus Carlsen was in scintillating form in San Francisco, where he won the Champions Chess Tour Finals. In round 6 he played an excellent match against Praggnanandhaa. After the match ended, we were able to get Magnus on the livestream to discuss some of the critical moments from the match. 11/27/2022 – Top International Grandmasters, top Indian men and women Grandmasters, young Indian talents and Viswanathan Anand — as the ambassador and advisor of the tournament — will enrich the fourth edition of the Tata Steel Chess Tournament. For the first time, a women’s tournament will be played with the same format and the same prize fund. The tournament will take place from November 29 to December 4 in Kolkata.

11/27/2022 – Today, the Czech Grandmaster Vlastimil Jansa celebrates his 80th birthday. For many years, Jansa was one of the best Czechoslovak players, and he took part in ten chess Olympiads and was Czechoslovak national champion three times. In his youth, he was also part of the national junior team of Czechoslovakia - the football team. In 2018, he became senior world champion.
