7/4/2022 – Our software with the database program, the chess programs, the chess server, numerous FritzTrainer MultiMedia courses and the numerous apps for the online functions is manifold, and naturally questions about the operation of the programs arise again and again. Besides the manuals we offer another important source of information for our users: the ChessBase Wiki.
5/23/2022 – The ChessBase video portal contains a wealth of videos on various topics (opening, middlegame and endgame). A helpful function for owners of the newer FritzTrainer courses is the possibility to view the contents of the purchased courses directly with the browser in the video portal. This makes it easier to access the courses as it is not necessary to view the contents of the courses with the ChessBase Reader, ChessBase or one of the chess programmes on the desktop.
9/1/2018 – In over-the-board games, some people like to note down how much time they spent on each move to be able to analyse their games better and to improve their thinking processes. If you play online the computer does this for you: it automatically records the time you spent on your moves. You can use this information — or you can delete it. | Graphics: ChessBase
6/9/2018 – When training or preparing for a tournament it can be helpful to exchange databases and game annotations with another ChessBase user. A trainer can, for example, analyse the games of his students, annotate them and provide specific advice about mistakes. Frequently the relevant databases are sent and received by email, but there is a more elegant and effective way if the user has a ChessBase Accountand utilises the options afforded by the ChessBase Cloud services. We'll show you how!
