Poland wins Online Olympiad for People with Disabilities

12/7/2020 – A few days ago, Poland won the 1st FIDE Online Olympiad for People with Disabilities. Second place went to Russia while Ukraine won bronze. The photo shows the players of the Polish winners, who of course had to play the tournament from their respective "home offices".

FIDE launches the first Online Olympiad for People with Disabilities

11/21/2020 – The first Online Chess Olympiad for People with Disabilities, organized by the International Chess Federation, kicks off today (November 21) and will run until December 3, a day recognized by the United Nations as the International Day of Persons with Disabilities.
