Day 5 - Blitz

The fourth leg of the 2021 Grand Chess Tour is taking place on August 11-15 at the Saint Louis Chess Club.

The event consists of two sections: a three-day single round robin with a rapid time control (25’+10”), followed by a two-day double round robin with a blitz time control (5’+2”). The action kicks off daily at 16.00 ET (22.00 CEST, 20.00 UT).

@NYTed, This page is using classical ratings, but the official website (I am not checking it, but since you said so, I certainly believe you) is almost certainly using either the official FIDE rapid and/or blitz ratings.

I think the Chessbase rating are off as they don't agree with the ratings on the official website.

I could've been a GM and competing at this level. I once beat Larry Remlinger but lost and drew against underrated low experts at the old Riverside (CA) Chess Club. Now, thanks to the Wall Street Bailout, I am a winner.
