Day 5 - Blitz
The fourth leg of the 2021 Grand Chess Tour is taking place on August 11-15 at the Saint Louis Chess Club.
The event consists of two sections: a three-day single round robin with a rapid time control (25’+10”), followed by a two-day double round robin with a blitz time control (5’+2”). The action kicks off daily at 16.00 ET (22.00 CEST, 20.00 UT).
The Ragozin is being played by every top grandmaster in the world - it is time you also add it to your repertoire to get interesting and dynamic positions against 1. d4! GM Alejandro Ramirez analyses every single move that White can play once the Ragozin is reached, but due to several transpositional possibilities he always emphasises strategic goals to keep in mind.
Commentary by GMs Yasser Seirawan, Alejandro Ramirez and Maurice Ashley

@NYTed, This page is using classical ratings, but the official website (I am not checking it, but since you said so, I certainly believe you) is almost certainly using either the official FIDE rapid and/or blitz ratings.

I think the Chessbase rating are off as they don't agree with the ratings on the official website.

Good for you Dan!

I could've been a GM and competing at this level. I once beat Larry Remlinger but lost and drew against underrated low experts at the old Riverside (CA) Chess Club. Now, thanks to the Wall Street Bailout, I am a winner.
