by ChessBase
11/30/2023 – The Sinquefield Cup is taking place on November 21-30 at the World Chess Hall of Fame in Saint Louis. The 9-round classical tournament is the last event in this year’s Grand Chess Tour. It also plays a key role in the fight for the last two spots still up for grabs in the 2024 Candidates Tournament. | Follow the games live with expert commentary starting at 20.00 CET (14.00 ET, 0.30 IST)

Winning starts with what you know
The new version 18 offers completely new possibilities for chess training and analysis: playing style analysis, search for strategic themes, access to 6 billion Lichess games, player preparation by matching Lichess games, download Chess.com games with built-in API, built-in cloud engine and much more.

Round 9

As the only remaining destination to be part of every Grand Chess Tour since its first edition in 2015, the Sinquefield Cup continues to be an essential element of the GCT circuit.

The final stop on this year’s tour features ten strong grandmasters, some of which remain in the fight to qualify to the 2024 Candidates Tournament either via the FIDE Circuit or by rating.

The players receive 90 minutes for 40 moves, followed by 30 minutes to the end of the game, plus a 30-second increment starting from move one.
