This video course offers you a complete, clear repertoire for Black against the moves 1.Nf3 and 1.c4. The recommended variations are easy to learn and not difficult to remember, but also pose White serious challenges.

Robert Ris: "This week's topic is the Sicilian Taimanov, as we are going to have a look at the game Abdisalimov-Nihal from the Agzamov Memorial in Tashkent.

White opted for the trendy system with 5.Bf4, and I see it as a good sign that a lot of top players have been following my recommendations of my course The flexible Taimanov Sicilian. I will once again explain Black's main ideas and the critical lines.

With a spectacular exchange sacrifice Nihal managed to open up the queenside and win the game."
