A Complete Black Repertoire against 1.Nf3 & 1.c4
This video course offers you a complete, clear repertoire for Black against the moves 1.Nf3 and 1.c4. The recommended variations are easy to learn and not difficult to remember, but also pose White serious challenges.
I have a closer look at the crucial last-round game of the Prague Masters between Anish Giri and Praggnanandhaa Rameshbabu. With the black pieces, Pragg decided to take some risks with 7...exd4 in the Classical Variation of the King's Indian. It was a very interesting try, as play usually leads to very unbalanced positions, but Giri came very well-prepared and neutralized Black's play convincingly. After some inaccuracies by Pragg, Giri brilliantly took over control in the centre and finished off the game.
