ChessBase 17 - Mega package - Edition 2024
It is the program of choice for anyone who loves the game and wants to know more about it. Start your personal success story with ChessBase and enjoy the game even more.
The tournament is organized by ChessBase India. Its purpose is to raise funds for a well-known and well-loved chess trainer, K. Durgesh, co-founder of the Tattva Chess Academy. On August 3rd the 39-year-old suffered a major cerebral stroke. Following a successful brain surgery Durgesh tested positive for Covid-19. Hospital bills have piled up, exceeding his financial resources.
The entire prize fund is sponsored by Sushrutha Reddy, a friend and admirer of the chess trainer.
However, a ray of hope has come in these dark hours from fellow chess players and chess coaches, who have assembled to fight beside Durgesh and raise funds to meet the increasing costs of his medical treatment. Until Thursday, September 17 a total sum of Rs.566,583 has been collected.
