Trent's Tactics - Discovering creative check-mates

11/5/2021 – Lawrence takes us on a ride to discover how creativity can be used for tactical patterns. The more often we repeat the exercises, the better we understand the tactics. Furthermore, Lawrence and Arne try to achieve over 2100 rating points in the ChessBase training section.
On this DVD IM Trent shows the Albin Counter-Gambit (1.d4 d5 2.c4 e5). Trent found a number of extremely dangerous Theoretical Novelties which will truly put the Albin Counter-Gambit back on the map.

Trent's Tactics

Lawrence Trent takes us through the world of tactics. Every new episode, he is teaching us a new tactical motif, which his co-host Arne Kaehler tries to solve. 

The viewer is encouraged to actively participate in the tactics, stop the video, and try to solve the chess problems on their own.

The second part of "Trent's Tactics" dives straight into the ChessBase training section. Each episode, the two try to solve the tactics, and together with you, the viewer, embark on a long journey to brush up the score.
