Max Euwe Matches in Amsterdam
From Thursday, May 13, to Sunday, May 16, the Max Euwe Center in Amsterdam
is staging five matches for talented young Dutch players. The games start at
13.30h each day, and there are four rounds. The opponents are:

to the Max Euwe Centre. Anish Giri and the other young talents did not attend
– perhaps you can guess why this was the case?!

Answer to our question above: Anish and the other junior players could not
attend the opening ceremony, which took place in Holland Casino Amsterdam, because
under Dutch law nobody under the age of 18 can enter a casino!
