9/7/2026 – From 7 to 12 September, the "Legends and Prodigies" tournament is taking place in Madrid, with five grandmasters and five international masters competing in a clash of generations. The event is a double round-robin played with a shortened classical time control. Alongside the young Argentine star Faustino Oro, currently the world's youngest GM and the second youngest GM of all time, the field includes grandmasters David Antón Guijarro, José Martínez Alcantara, Ivan Sokolov, Diego Flores and José Fernando Cuenca Jimenez. | Photo: Mar Melero | Live from 17:00 CEST

The Argentine teenager will face five strong grandmasters in a six-player double round-robin at Nave Bellver and is seeded fifth.
