Immortal Game – the movie

12/22/2005 – Everybody knows the famous multiple sacrifice encounter between Anderssen and Kieseritzky, which has gone down in history as the "Immortal Game". The Hamburg film company Frame-by-frame has produced a beautifully animated version of it, which is now available as a DVD.

The movie, which was generated using exquisite chess pieces from the 19th century, can be played on a standard DVD player and viewed on a TV set. Naturally you can also run it on your computer.

The chess sequence is an animation without words. It depicts the course of the game.
