Game of the Week #467

Top level chess has finally moved back to over-the-board chess again, with the Superbet Chess Classic in Bucharest. Some strange recent trends turn out to be persistent though, with Radjabov instantly drawing his games and MVL refusing to repeat his opening lines.

From the first 20 games, 14 were boring draws. Fortunately, the amazing game So-Caruana, which we will study, seems to have broken the spell.
