Game of the Week #480

The Norway Chess tournament will see the fascinating Carlsen vs Nepomniachtchi clash a few months before their World Championship match.

The first day of the event started with only two games, since Nepomniachtchi vs Karjakin was postponed due to Nepo’s visa problems. Firouzja vs Carlsen was drawn, but Rapport treated us to a ‘good knight vs bad bishop’ masterclass against Tari, which is our Game of the Week!
