The first new move but not a good one. The engines recommend 25...Bf6 e.g. 26.Qg3 Kxf7 27.Bd4 Rxa2 28.Nxa2 Ra8 29.Rxc6 Qxc6 30.Bxe5 Rxa2 31.Qg6+ Kf8 32.Bxf6 Ra1+ 33.Kd2 Qd7+ 34.Ke3 Rxg1 35.Qxg1 gxf6 with a roughly equal endgame. 26.Bd4 Bf6 27.Qg3 Rh5 28.Kb1 The position is highly complex and according to the engines this is an inaccuracy. The engines propose 28.Rf1 e.g. Kxf7 29.Kb1 Ra5 30.Nxe4 Bxe4 31.Rxf6+ Kxf6 32.Qf4+ Ke7 33.Rxe6+ Kd7 34.Qxe4 with a winning position for White. 28...Rd8?! Better is 28...Rg5 29.Qf4 Rxg1+ 30.Bxg1 Qd7 with chances for both sides. 29.Bc5+ Kxf7 30.Nb5 Qd7 31.Nd4! Bd5 Or 31...Rg5 32.Bxe6+ Qxe6 33.Nxe6 Rxg3 34.Nxd8+ Bxd8 35.Rxg3 Bxb6 36.Bxb6 and White is winning. 32.Bxd5 Qxd5 33.Nxe6 Ra8 34.Ba3 Nc4 35.Qg6+ Kg8 36.Qxf6 Svane handled the complex position very well. 1–0
