The 2023 World Veterans Championships will be held at the "CDSHotels Terrasini - Città del Mare". The 11 rounds will start every day at 15.00 and there will be three tournaments: Open 50+, Open 65+ and the Women's Tournament, in which the women 50+ and 65+ play together, but in which both championship titles will be awarded. In all tournaments the time limit is 90 minutes for 40 moves and 30 minutes for the rest of the game. Players will receive a 30 second increment for each move. No draws are allowed in the first 30 moves without prior consultation with an arbiter.
