Three of the current top ten players took part in Wijk aan Zee. Anish Giri gained 12 points and jumped from eleventh to seventh place, but Magnus Carlsen lost 15 points, while Fabiano Caruana played at about his level (-3).
The gap between the world's two best players has narrowed considerably, from 39 points before to 27 points now. That's about the size of the gap between Fabiano Caruana and the third best player, Ding Liren, who has not played any FIDE-rated games in the last months. Behind Ding Liren, the gaps between the players are much smaller.

The other lists hardly changed at all. The only noteworthy women's tournament was the Armenian Women's National Championships, in which Anna Sargsyan won some points and climbed a little in the women's ranking and the girls' ranking.
The top two juniors are Alireza Firouzja and Andrey Esipenko though Firouzja is almost 60 points ahead of Esipenko.
