In the 4th round of the European Club Cup, Vincent Keymer was once again the most important man for his team from Novy Bor. With his victory over Alexey Sarana, he ensured the team victory against the Hungarian team Sentimento Ajka BSK. The players from Novy Bor had an Elo advantage on all boards, but with the exception of Keymer's game, all games ended in draws.
The team of Ivan Sokolov of SuperChess, the number one seed, suffered a somewhat surprising defeat against the Turkish Airlines team.
