The Greek Chess Federation is hosting the European Women’s Individual Championship this year. The tournament is taking place on 18-30 April at the 5-star Rodos Palace Conference Hotel in Rhodes, Greece.
The tournament is played over ten rounds according to the Swiss system. The time control is 90 minutes for 40 moves plus 30 minutes for the rest of the game with 30-second increments from the first move. The total prize money is EUR 60,000, with EUR 10,000 reserved for the winner. The top ten finishers will qualify for the next edition of the Women’s World Cup.
