Take the Chess Train in 2019

9/6/2019 – The annual Chess Train rolls on, and the 2019 route takes it from Prague via Karlovy Vary to Český Krumlov, Brno and Trenčín, then back to Prague, from October 11th to 15th. During the trip, a rapid chess tournament is played over 11 rounds, while in the afternoon and evening you can see the sights of the destination cities and towns. A unique and fun chess experience!

Rollin' rollin' rollin'...

The Chess Train returns! Over the years, many prominent players have participated in it. Will you join them? This year's route from October 11th to 15th takes the train from its home in Prague, to Karlovy Vary, Český Krumlov and Brno in the Czech Republic and then to Trenčín, Slovakia, before returning to Prague.

The individual stations are reached in the afternoon, so that you still have enough time to visit the cities each evening.

If you want play you should register quickly. Experience shows that the seats are fast. The number of places is limited, and the annual tradition is popular. To register contact prazska.sachova@gmail.com.

The travel costs are 199 EUR per player, and 149 EUR for accompanying persons. The accommodation can also be booked through the organizer in the selected 3-star, 4-star or 5-star hotels or via individual booking — you can organize the accommodation on your own if you wish.
