NEW YORK, Nov. 10, 2005: French artist Bernard Vidal has announced that he
will host a reception at the United Nations, November 14, 2005, 12 p.m. to
2 p.m. to introduce his portraits celebrating "Vidal's Positive People
of the World Today."
"This unique tribute in Art honors people who have impacted the world
in a positive way," said Bernard Vidal, recent recipient of the French
Government's Chevalier dans l'Ordre des Arts et des Lettres, one of the highest
distinctions in the Arts in France. Vidal's honorees include President Bill
Clinton, Senator Hillary Clinton, Garry Kasparov, David Blaine, Eckhard Pfeiffer,
Mayor Michael Bloomberg, Gerard Depardieu, Meg Whitman and Yao Ming.

Vidal also announced an eBay Charity Auction through eBay Giving Works, the
dedicated section on the site for nonprofit auctions, of the portraits will
begin simultaneously with the UN Event benefiting the American Red Cross Hurricane
Relief Effort. The art auction will last for ten days and is available for
preview at www.EBAY.com/VidalforRedCross.
