@macauley life in chess is indeed thankless. Your response made me think of The Hunting of the Snark. (No idea why.) I watch Kingscrusher a lot on Chess 24. He is a real player and entertaining. Howdever, he is not good at reeling in non-premium lurkers. His marketing skills leave something to be desired. I would recommend some "snake-oil" sales courses before setting him loose - Just some friendly advice from a long time watcher of this site....

@TMMM - Feel free. We're working on some new banter blitz features to be showcased soon. Competition is good for chess. Snark, less so.

@amalwa You're obviously trolling by the use of the term "real player" but to answer your question anyway to explain to other people who might not be familiar with him, he's an entertaining player to watch as he plays very aggressively, playing gambits and saccing pieces for an attack in most of his games.

Don’t ger the fuss about Kingscrusher? Wouldn’t ppl rather watch a real chess player?

Haha, ChessBase wants to become "modern" as well I suppose. I've never seen Kingscrusher use PlayChess before - in fact, all streamers on e.g. Twitch use one of two other live chess websites. (Knowing ChessBase, I suppose mentioning those two competitors here will probably get this comment removed.)
