On the DVD Andrew Martin uses recent, complete master games, and some classics as well, to highlight the most important ideas of the Ruy Lopez! He also gives repertoire suggestions, in the light, easy, relaxed style for which this author is noted.

The DVD contains 21 chapters and more than 210 minutes of video material. It includes a complete Ruy Lopez repertoire for White, dealing with the Chase Variation, Berlin, Cozio, Schliemann, Bird, Steinitz, Classical and Smyslov’s Defence. Andrew Martin is 47 years old and lives in Sandhurst, England, with his wife and four children. He has written several best-selling chess books, including the recent “King’s Indian Battle Plans” and “Secret Weapons”.
