In the second round of the World Cup in Baku, two high-profile games featured the Sicilian Sveshnikov with 7.Nd5, leading to a very interesting double-edged position. Our main game of the week is Wei Yi-Supi, which for 18 moves followed a line from a game Caruana and Carlsen played during the World Championship in London 2018. In that match, all games ended in a draw. But Wei Yi could do better and scored a convincing victory.
