Blitz - Knockout stage
The rapid tournament takes place on 26-28 December. Players will get a rest day on Sunday, while the blitz event will be played on 30-31 December.

Format - Blitz
A 2-stage format will be used for the first time in both events. Following a Swiss open, 8 players will qualify to the deciding knockout stage.

Each confrontation in the knockout stage is a 4-game match
