...76 players

Players from all over the world came to the Isle of Man. Most of them
will have taken the plane but some obviously prefer to travel by ship.

The spacious playing hall

Nigel Short - with 4.5/6 he still has chances to finish at the very top

English veteran Mark Hebden keeps his fingers crossed, so to speak.

Abijheet Gupta

Laurent Fressinet - with a rating of 2713 number three in France and an excellent poker player

Elisabeth Pähtz, Germany's number one on the women's list

With 3.5/6 things do not really go smoothly for Michael Adams

There's a way to find out what was good and what went bad.
