by ChessBase
6/26/2024 – Magnus Carlsen's chess memory never ceases to amaze. At the Casablanca Chess Tournament in May 2024, Carlsen, Vishy Anand and Hikaru Nakamura were shown positions from historically important games and asked to guess the players and dates of the games. The twist: instead of pieces, the three top players saw only black and white checkers. But for Carlsen this seemed to be only a minor obstacle.

The new version 18 offers completely new possibilities for chess training and analysis: playing style analysis, search for strategic themes, access to 6 billion Lichess games, player preparation by matching Lichess games, download Chess.com games with built-in API, built-in cloud engine and much more.

Of course Carlsen has shown time and again how good his chess memory is. For example in the following video with David Howell.
