I will have a look at the topical line with 4.h4 h5 in the Advance Variation of the Caro-Kann which was seen a few times at the European Individual Championships. Thanks to the inclusion of the h-pawns, the g5-square has been seriously weakened and is often used by a white minor piece.

In the following game, Black tried to cover the square with ...f7-f6, in vain...
