Robert Ris: "Magnus Carlsen spectacularly won the World Rapid Championships with some very nice victories along the way. For me though the game of the tournament was the crushing attack displayed by Daniil Dubov with the black pieces against Anish Giri. What started off as a quiet symmetrical line in the Fianchetto Variation of the Grunfeld, soon transformed into a dynamical mess, as Dubov sacrificed two pawns and obtained fantastic piece play."

Exercise: How should Black prove its compensation for the pawn?

Feel free to move the pieces on the live diagram!
