The 16-move miniature played at the Baku Open between Balajayeva and Harsha deserves a closer look. In a Sicilian Alapin, Black didn't coordinate the pieces in time and was lost after only 9 moves. An absolute rarity at this level!

But the game contained many fascinating tactical ideas, so it's perfect for this week's episode!

Robert is an International Master who mostly spends his time training and coaching talented youngsters. On the PlayChess server The Fast and the Furious is a popular show where he explains sharp opening lines for a wider audience.
