This week I'll have a look at the game Hakobyan-Bok played in Saint Louis which is an absolute modelgame with the Catalan Opening. Typically White sacrificed a pawn for long term positional compensation by pressuring the backward pawn on the c-file, not allowing Black to break free anytime. A second front was created on the other side of the board and very soon Black's position collapsed. A modern classic!
