How to find annotated opening analyses in the New Opening Encyclopaedia 2022?

There are plenty of articles with opening suggestions within "Ideas for your repertoire".

The menu structure has been significantly improved. Above all, all 1,300 opening articles in the new edition have been given a unique designation. Each article is now specified not only by the opening name, but also by the opening moves which indicate the treated variation. A big plus for a faster search and for a better overview within the large offer!

Under the main categories "Open Openings", "Semi-open Openings", "Closed Openings", "Semi-closed Openings" as well as "Flank Openings" you will find all articles classified by the related opening name. You can call up any of them with a mouse click. And you can also switch from one article to the next just as easily. Like that you can find your favourite opening easily and quickly!

As an example let’s assume we are looking for a weapon vs. the Petroff Defence (1.e4 e5 2.Nf3 Nf6) as after all it was played in the World Championship match as main weapon by Challenger Top Grandmaster Ian Nepomniatchi vs. World Champion Magnuns Carlsen.

Open your Opening Encyclopaedia 2022 and follow the path:

Ideas for your Repertoire – Open Games – Petroff Defence, here you find all Petroff articles.

As a sample I selected one article by GM Kapnises who offers analyses after the popular continuation 3.d4 Nxe4 4.Bd3 d5 5.Nxe5 Nd7 6.Nc3:

Petroff 3.d4 opening article by GM Kapnises: The Grandmaster offers analyses within a trendy line. He annotates model games and gives ideas for your repertoire, to counter the Petroff actively with 3.d4 and 6.Nc3.

GM Kapnises's 3.d4 Petroff article gives 6 annotated grandmaster games in the 3.d4/6.Nc3  Opening Line.

This is only one of the Grandmaster articles. The Opening Encyclopaedia 2022 gathers all articles from the ChessBase Magazines and gives over 1,300 articles with "Ideas for your Repertoire".

Each of the over 1300 articles contains numerous games annotated by grandmasters with plenty of improvements and ideas for your own practice and enhancement for your overall chess understanding, mostly for opening knowledge and your middlegame understanding by looking over plenty annotated games.
